Antje Klauss-Vorreiter

Antje Klauss-Vorreiter and Vivian Blümel are the two founders and directors of GREEN.

Antje studied civil engineering (graduation as Dipl-Ing. 1999) at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany but has always been a manager at heart. Over the years, Antje moved from environmental engineering and waste management to solar energy and realised different international projects in the field of renewable energy and education along the way. Since 2008 she is also on the board of the German Solar Energy Society DGS in Thuringia. She became a shareholder and training director at maxx-solar energy PTY Ltd, a South African solar training and wholesale company in 2011. She joined SAPVIA, the South African PV Industry Association as chairperson of the Skills Development Committee. End of 2019, Antje and Vivian Blümel founded GREEN Solar Academy together as a spin-off of maxx-solar to be able to offer completely independent and product-neutral solar training. At GREEN, Antje acts as Managing Director and oversees the finances, the different business fields and coordinates the projects. Antje is a great networker and social mediator for the extended team and pulls all the strings together. Managing teams, creating work schedules and project outlines and acquiring capital for ideas are her specialties. She has worked in many business fields, team constellations and cultures so she can adapt to new situations quickly in order to get the most out of her team.
