Claudia Solera is a reporter of special investigations in the newspaper Excelsior and Grupo Imagen. Part of the research team on CLAP food boxes in Venezuela, carried out in partnership with Excelsior and Armando.Info, research that has won the 2020 Roche Award for Health Journalism, Digital category; honorable mention in Colpin 2018, the IPYS Venezuela and the “Voces de América Latina” Award. Co-author of the books: „19 Buildings like 19 Wounds“ by Grijalbo publishing house, on real estate corruption, which caused the fall of real estate in the 19S earthquake and participated in the Anthology „Side B of the COVID-19 pandemic. Zero Year Experiences”.

He has covered investigations into the covid-19 pandemic and in areas affected by drug trafficking in Mexico, where he has told stories of victims of violence and disappearances, such as the coverage of the 43 Ayotzinapa normalistas. He has investigated fuel theft in Mexico. In 2015, he was among the 15 Latin American journalists awarded scholarships by the Balboa/Iberis Network to travel to Madrid, Spain, for a semester and studied postgraduate journalism at the Universidad de los Andes, in Bogotá, Colombia.
