Nguyen Thu is a journalist at Vietnam Investment Review (VIR) and writes articles in English on external economics-politics relations and internal socio-economic issues as well as focus on investment and industry projects such as energy and power. She covers main energy news for VIR’s special annual publication: Climate Change, Smart Choice, Smart Energy and water usage.
Additionally she works on PR articles for VIR’s advertisers who are mostly businesses, particularly foreign firms and builds strategy and events for VIR’s partners.
For her outstanding performance, she received the certificate of merit from the Minister of Planning and Investment for two consecutive years (2020, 2021), the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Industry and Trade for the communication of industry and trade in the period 2016-2020 and the VIR’s outstanding reporter award in 2019, 2020,2021, 2022.
She joined Asean Fellowship in China (2015).
“Women Energize Women” #womenenergize is a communication initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE) within the scope of BMWK’s global project Bilateral Climate and Energy Partnerships and Dialogues.
