Journalist with over 10 years of experience covering the energy sector, Camila Maia is one of three female partners who own MegaWhat, a Brazilian startup focused on knowledge in the energy sector through news, videos, podcasts, education, and special projects. After five years working at Valor Econômico, Brazil’s leading financial media outlet, she found herself passionate about energy, and sought a media outlet that allowed diversifying the way of communicating, through the development of different formats to reach more audiences, and has been working there since its launch, in 2019.

Women Energize Women is a communication campaign of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The campaign is part of the Bilateral Climate and Energy Partnerships and Dialogues.
