Angela Homsi is an entrepreneur and investor, building solutions driving systemic change towards a clean, inclusive and safer world. She is Founder and President at Ignite Power, and on the board of multiple tech startups, investment funds‘ and non-profit.

Ignite is an infratech platform building the future on infrastructure to solve universal access to clean power and internet for consumers, health, education and agri markets. Ignite pioneers distributed, digitised and decarbonised solutions, which are resilient and able to reach the last mile in emerging countries. With presence across ten countries, serving 2.5 millions people with life-enabling solutions, Ignite’s vision is to leave no one behind in having access to vital clean infrastructure. Ignite won multiple awards globally, and is especially the proud winner of the Zayed Sustainability Prize (Energy) awarded at COP28, and project awardee of IRENA fifth cycle.

Angela also chairs the sovereign-backed Africa Innovation Fund and sits on DC-based Microvest Capital IC. Previously, she was a sustainable investor at Generation IM under VP Al Gore’s chairmanship, and worked at Goldman Sachs. She also worked on post-conflict economic and financial solutions with Sir Ronald at The Portland Trust.
In her non-for-profit work, Angela is the chair of Seeds of Peace Global Leadership Council, Milken-Motseppe Greentech judge, a Commissioner for the Capital Mobilisation Accelerator, she was a founding board member of the Negotiation Strategies Institute, and has been actively involved in Track II initiatives in the Middle-East. She has been an awarded Chair of YPO Global Diplomacy Network, and is also a contributor, guest lecturer and speaker in multiple universities and institutions globally, such as Technion, Tel Aviv university, New York University, University of Galilee, TEDX, Milken Institute, AIM, Globes, I24 News, Ynet News, and more.

Angela lives in Abu Dhabi. She is a mathematician and economics scholar, and a Singularity University Executive Graduate. She speaks French, English, Spanish, some Arabic and Hebrew.
