Jeanette Gitobu

Jeanette Mwendwa Gitobu is Director of the Women in Wind Global Leadership Program at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), a non-profit industry association representing the wind energy industry worldwide. At GWEC, she is responsible for the leadership, strategy, and implementation of the program which is designed to accelerate the careers of women in the wind industry, support their pathway to leadership positions, and foster a global network of mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and empowerment. Outside of her formal employment, Jeanette serves as a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community and is the current Communications and Community Lead for the Nairobi Hub.
