Katarzyna Rezza Vega

Katarzyna Rezza Vega is an expert for global communications and women empowerment who has been working in the field of international cooperation for many years. From 2021 to 2025 she was Head of the „Women Energize Women“ (WEW) initiative at GIZ GmbH. WEW is a global campaign of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and a part of the „Bilateral Climate & Energy Partnerships“ with over 30 partnership countries. „Women Energize Women“ supports and amplifies the impact of female energy experts in accelerating the global energy transition while also mobilizing, connecting, and spotlighting female talent. Prior to joining Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, a worldwide service provider in sustainable development, Ms. Rezza Vega worked in strategic communications and specialized in public relations, advising international companies, start-ups, and consultancies. She is a graduate of Free University of Berlin and holds two Master’s degrees in Communication Science and English Studies.
