Maryam Ghaffarian

Maryam Ghaffarian has been working as senior process engineer at South Pars Gas Complex(SPGC) in gas industry for more than 15 years. Her work mainly has focused on simulating the gas treatment process, investigation on zero flaring during gas refinery start_up, collaborating on flaring optimization projects, feasibility study of modification requests to improve process and supporting operation by giving guidelines and doing the test runs to meet the specifications.

She is also passionate about sustainable and clean energy sources, contributing to a greener future, and already spoke about green hydrogen at several events.
