Reyhan Nergis Öner is a passionate and impact-driven professional with over 10 years of experience in the energy, mobility, and sustainability sectors. Reyhan blends technical knowledge with strategic thinking to lead innovative, future-focused projects across renewable energy, sustainability, carbon markets, circular economy, R&D, and smart mobility.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Işık University and a Master’s degree in Energy Technologies Management from Sabancı University.
Over the years, Reyhan has gained strong expertise in renewable energy project development, including budgeting, permitting, and formal application processes. She has actively followed technological trends and promoted innovation across her teams. Her experience also includes involvement in M&A, project execution, and IPO processes. She has played a key role in R&D and innovation projects focusing on predictive maintenance, circularity, composite materials, and digital twin technologies.
In addition, she has managed voluntary carbon market projects certified by international standards, overseeing the entire process from reporting to carbon credit trading. Her commitment to sustainability drives her ongoing efforts to deepen her expertise in this field. Reyhan also gained valuable experience in entrepreneurship and innovation through an in-house intrapreneurship program supported by mentorship and training.
Currently, she continues her work in the e-mobility sector, leading the company’s sustainability strategy. Her focus areas include decarbonization, circular economy, and carbon markets. She is responsible for projects such as carbon footprint assessments, ESG reporting, Design to Sustainability, Scope 3 emissions reduction, and voluntary carbon market development.
Beyond her corporate roles, Reyhan is a recognized advocate for gender equality and women’s leadership in the energy and sustainability sectors. She serves as a Board Member of Turkish Women in Renewables and Energy (TWRE) and is the Vice President and co-founder of the Green Collar Women Association (GCWA). Through these platforms, she has led impactful initiatives such as mentorship programs, green education sessions, and representation at global conferences—empowering young women and fostering inclusive professional ecosystems.
Her active mentorship, public speaking engagements, and dedication to knowledge-sharing reflect her belief in collective action for a just and sustainable transition. A frequent traveler with a global mindset, Reyhan is eager to expand her career internationally and contribute to forward-thinking, sustainability-led organization.
