Anja Spannaus

„Making renewable energy possible for institutional investors“ has been the common thread running through her professional career since completing her master’s degree at the LMU in Munich in 2007. Initially, the focus was on photovoltaic project financing in Germany, which expanded to asset management of solar and wind power plants in Europe when she joined re:cap in 2012. As managing director of the individual project companies as well as team leader of the asset management at re:cap, the areas of responsibility today lie primarily in the management, digitalisation and optimisation of renewable energy projects. Since the foundation of 4:energy O&M GmbH in January 2021, a JV with 4initia GmbH, she has also been co-managing the technical operational management of ground-mounted solar plants in Germany.
