Ingrid-Gabriela Hoven is a development economist with more than 30 years of international experience (strong focus on sustainability and climate issues). She served as Wolrd Bank Group Executive Director representing Germany and held various high-level posotions in the BMZ (German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development), e.g. as Director-General focusing on displacement and migration, governance, climate change mitigation and sustainability. Hoven represented BMZ on the governance boards of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), the Vaccine Alliance (GAVI), the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA).
