Vanessa Pulgarin

Vanessa has over 10 years of working experience in funding and policy with extensive international scope and impact, including work in the field of climate adaptation, smart cities and digitalization policy. She currently holds the position of Funding and Policy Manager at EIH2, Ireland’s first green hydrogen company where she builds relationships at national and European level across academia, industry, civil society and state-owned entities that support policy and legislation by taking part on policy working groups and forums focused on Hydrogen and Energy Systems Integration. She has engaged and represented organisations at High Level conferences such as the UNFCCC COP24, UN-Habitat III and the European Week of Regions and Cities.

Vanessa holds a MSc in International Public Policy & Diplomacy from University College Cork and a Postgraduate Diploma on Planning and Management of Development Cooperation Interventions and possess excellent English, Spanish and French written and verbal communication skills. She is a former Ireland’s International Students Ambassador (2019) and Canada’s Global Youth Leaders (2017).
